Sara Clausen is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California. During her Junior year, she directed and wrote a short film based on the poem "Alzheimer's" by Bob Hicok. Having lost her grandfather to Alzheimer's at an early age, she wrote Forget-Me-Not to capture the impact of the disease on the families of those affected. Sara continues to create films that focus on the human condition-- as a Senior, she produced Hurria, a short film about a refugee father who must navigate war-torn Syria in order to ensure his daughter's safety. The short was recently selected to be a part of the 2018 Peace on Earth Film Festival. She continues to nurture her curiosity through film while working as a coordinator for Sundance Film Festival.
