As a young kid growing up in the Philippines, Justin had many different dreams and aspirations... but filmmaking wasn't one of them. Though he was always fascinated by the art form, he didn't pursue this path 'til freshman year high school when he made a short video for his friends, completely out of boredom. Seeing how they reacted to his work made him realize how powerful the medium really is and ultimately, how satisfying it is to tell a story.

Since then, Justin has moved to the states and has made numerous short films that have won awards and played in both national and international film festivals.
