Tom studied at Ravensbourne University, London on the fast track Digital Film Production degree and graduated last year with First Class Honours. Since graduating, he is pursuing a career as a Director and Director of Photography in Film and television. Don't You Forget was a very personal project for Tom. Basing it on events that had happened between his grandmother and him, and his mother's encounters with her father, he crafted the story to try and reflect the difficulties of dealing with Alzheimer's at such a young and tender age. The film is dedicated to his grandfather Royston Cooper who died when he was fairly young, but has become even more poignant for Tom as his grandmother is in her final stages of the disease.
