Naomi Boak
Naomi Boak is an Emmy Award-winning producer who most recently served on the national production team at Twin Cities Public Television (TPT). She now makes independent films and consults on media in New York City.
At TPT, Boak was executive producer of the Primetime Emmy Award-winning program The Forgetting: A Portrait of Alzheimer’s, the documentaries FAT and Through A Dog’s Eyes, and the PBS series Life (Part 2). She also created web sites, community outreach initiatives and social media campaigns featured on PBS.org.
Prior to her PBS work, Boak wrote and produced Emmy Award-winning primetime children’s specials for CBS and was executive producer for the daily comedy show Snap Judgment on Court TV. In the 1990s, She led television production and public television sponsorship worldwide for the IBM Corporation and was executive producer of the Lifetime Medical Television Network.
Boak received an A.B. in anthropology from Stanford University and did graduate work at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
