Alzheimer’s – Life Without Memory
Directed by:Ben Blake
In this short I spoke with the people who were closest to Bill, his family. This documentary was made during the early and middle stages of Bill’s condition when he still lived at his home with his wife. The strength of family support is repeatedly shown through this video, and the simplicity of love is perfectly summarised in the final quote of the film from my subject’s son-in-law.

This documentary was my first attempt at any serious video media production and was shot during my time at 6th form college. I have since moved on to editorial and operational coverage of world news programming.
