Living with Alzheimer's Film Project

In 2010, I set out to understand and try to connect with my grandfather ‘Poppa’. From a young age, he fanatically taught me all he knew about sports, which is all he could do as once my grandmother, ‘Nanny wobble’, passed away from breast cancer in 1997, he suffered a major heart attack and stroke. This lead to the onset of Alzheimer’s.
I believe he suffered for the rest of his life with a broken heart, not being able to face life without his one true love. This film helps us understand.
